Call for projects 2024: Lab Food science

The FORTHEM Food Science Lab invites students from the Alliance partner universities to take part in its 2024 call for projects!  

This Lab, coordinated by université de Bourgogne (uB), was launched in 2020. It focuses on the major societal challenges linked to food, food production, health and well-being, issues that reflect current and future trends in human activity and their relationship with the environment. 

Students interested in projects related to the Lab Food Science are encouraged to carry out projects during the FORTHEM campus, which will take place at uB from September 2024. For more information on this initiative, please visit the Alliance website. 

  

What does it entail?  

  • Funding of up to €5000 per project. 
  • Collaborative opportunities with students from at least two FORTHEM partner universities and an external partner. 
  • Duration ranging from 2 weeks to one semester.  
  • Academic recognition through ECTS credits or a FORTHEM certificate. 

  

Who can apply?  

Students of all academic levels: Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD. 

  

How to apply: 

Complete the following excel file and send it to forthem@u-bourgogne.fr  

Submit one application per project. Applications will be evaluated by a review board composed of academic members of the Lab. Successful projects may receive additional funding in the next call. 

  

Important dates:  

  • Application deadline: February 25th, 2024 
  • Project execution and reporting deadline: October 31st, 2024
